L.A. Girlfriend is the one woman project of LA based 21 year old, Sydney Allyson Banta. With a strong influence rooting from the post punk and new wave movements of the 80s, L.A. Girlfriend mixes melodic synth sounds with strong bass lines and distortion. Sweet, yet aggressive. Innocent and suggestive. L.A. Girlfriend proves that a good pop song can be delightfully dark.
