Sarajevska grupa Cod osnovana je 1974 godine. Grupu su osnovali: Nenad Jurin, Džemo Novaković i Izidor Kajić. Ostatak grupe čine Petar Kenjić i Ivica Propadalo. Malo kasnije, u grupu dolazi pevač Selver Brdarić. U početku sviraju obrade svetskih hitova, ne pomišljajući na autorski rad. Mladi zeničanin Enes Bajramović dolazi u Sarajevo na Muzičku akademiju i jedno vreme radi sa Ipetom Ivandićem u grupi "Rock" svirajući u Plesnom Orkestru RTV Sarajevo.
