With a blend of reflexive lyrics, thick alt-rock riffs and pop-punk sensibilities, Backdrop Falls was formed in 2016 in the beach city of Fortaleza, Brazil, after being idealized and created by vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Matheus Collyer. Starting out as a studio project, they became a full band shortly after the release of their first EP, when they started touring around their hometown, taking their first steps and opening for bigger bands of the national scene.
