Disturbed is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1994 in Chicago, Illinois by David Draiman (vocals), Dan Donegan (guitar), Mike Wengren (drums), and Steve "Fuzz" Kmak (bass). The band released its debut album "The Sickness" in 2000. It included the singles "Stupify" and "Down with the Sickness," both considered nu-metal classics. "The Sickness" was followed by "Believe" (2002), "Ten Thousand Fists" (2005), "Indestructible" (2008), and "Asylum" (2010). Together these albums contained such hit singles as "Prayer," "Stricken," and a cover of Genesis’s "Land of Confusion." After a four-year hiatus, Disturbed returned in 2015 and released its fifth consecutive number-one hit album, "Immortalized." It featured a haunting cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence.” The band has since released two more albums: "Evolution" (2018) and “Divisive” (2022).
