Opening Night of the Pontiac Silverdome
Pontiac MI

During the show the main floor crowd surged forward causing a crush near the front of the stage. Pete admonished the crowd to move back saying "Its fucking blood and guts up here!". During band introductions, when Keith's name was announced, he came flying out from behind the drums, did a somersault and leaped into the air! It was the first major rock show for the Pontiac Silverdome, then new home for the Detroit Lions and Pistons. Led Zeppelin would set a single concert gross record there a few years later of over $1,000,000.
