Blue Swede was formed in Stockholm, Sweden back in October 1972. Their first single "Hooked on a Feeling" was released in America in January 1974. By the first week of April it was #1 with 1.7 million records sold in the United States alone and 100,000 in Canada.

Crowd was "Hooked on a Feeling" at the Forum. Flanked by over 10,000 cheering fans, Bjorn Skifs, lead singer of rock group Blue Swede works himself and the crowd into a frenzy at the Ontario Place Forum last night. In the first show of the Thursday night series at the Forum.
