What if you took your favorite early punk bands, 80’s New Wave bands and early 90’s Gothic Rock bands put them in a audio blender hit the puree button for a few minutes and you would have is Ardour of Angels! Their mixture of Punk energy and simplicity is smoothed over just enough with great New Wave synth lines to let the deeply emotional Goth influenced vocal lines blend in perfectly. Fronted by the Lady Spleen (Houston’s 2007 Miss Spooky) she proves she is more to deal with than just a pretty face.
