Mionia (Maija Līcīte) is a Latvian musician, composer and singer from Kuldīga, Latvia. From the age of six she has been learning the piano. Mionia was home-schooled and had grown up in an artist family in the woods of Latvia. Her music and mind live in the vibrancy of her upbringing. Vibrated, delighted, joyful yet stoic and centered. A rooted marooning voice, which is o soever different from typical contemporary artists. After working as a model for four years she graduated from the Latvian Academy of Art.
