The Academy Is... is a rock band which formed in 2003 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist William Beckett, rhythm guitarist Mike Carden, lead guitarist Jamie Reed Schefman, bassist Adam T. Siska, and drummer Andy "The Butcher" Mrotek. The band has released three albums - Almost Here (2005), Santi (2007) and Fast Times at Barrington High (2008) - before disbanding in 2011. The band reunited in 2015 and officially reformed in 2022.
