Crust is a Russian extreme metal band founded in 2014 in Nizhny Novgorod. Since her formation, she has released seven full-length albums. The band's early work combines post-black metal, sludge and doom metal. By the release of their fourth album "And A Dirge Become An Anthem" in 2020, the band had acquired their unique sound, which can be described as blackened death metal with elements of sludge and doom metal, acoustic folk melodies, and dark ambient.
