The latest band to emerge from South Wales with hearts pinned firmly to sleeve, The Last Republic are making a name for themselves as purveyors of soaring epic anthems. Songs that start on a bed of ambient synths before working their way up into a gospel of driving rock. Catchier than the clap and dressed sharper than razors, it's clear that The Last Republic have the proverbial 'bigger things' lined up squarely in their crosshairs. - Huw Stephens, Swn Festival.
