Angefangen haben die Lakeside Runners zu dritt, als instrumentale Rockband. Sie meldeten sich bei zwei verschiedenen Bandwettbewerben an und landeten sofort im Finale. Ein Podestplatz blieb jedoch aus. So meldeten sich die Lakesie Runners ein Jahr später nochmals aber mit neuer Besetzung an einem Bandcontest an. Neu mit Bassist und Gesang landeten sie glatt auf dem 2. Platz. Mit dem Förderungbeitrag wurde neues Equipment gekauft. Der Schwerpunkt wurde nun aufs Songwriting gelegt und die Lakeside Runners entwickelten viele neue Songs...
