Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Saxophonist Forrest Day was born in Lafayette, CA. His self-named solo EP was released in the fall of 2006. Around the same time, he formed a band to back him, which now performs under his name, "Forrest Day." Based in Oakland, CA, the band consists of Forrest on lead vocals and alto sax, Nick Wyner on keyboard and back-up vocals, Terrell Liedstrand on guitar and back-up vocals, John "Sankey" Sankey on bass, and Jasper Skydecker on drums.
