Joost (born Joost Klein, November 10, 1997, in Leeuwarden, Netherlands) is a rapper and singer who first gained a following for his sketches, mini-documentaries, and other content posted to YouTube. He released his first EP "Dakloos" in 2016. The music video for the lead single "Bitches" reached over a million views. His debut mixtape "Scandinavian Boy" (2017) charted in both the Netherlands and Belgium while his debut studio album "Abino" (2019) became a top ten hit in the Netherlands and Lithuania. Until 2022, his singles only charted in Lithuania, but in 2023, "Freisenjung" (w/ Ski Aggu and Otto Waalkes) became a number-one hit in Austria and Germany while also charting in the Netherlands, Latvia, Sweden, and Switzerland.
