As soon as Kelsea Ballerini emerged in the country music scene in 2014, she began setting records. Her first three singles each reached the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay charts, making her the first solo female country artist to accomplish the feat since Wynonna Judd in 1992. By 2018, she was exploring new sounds, adding some country twang to the synth-pop single "This Feeling" by The Chainsmokers.
