In januari 2003 heeft Xander zijn debuut gemaakt met zijn nieuwe band, waarvan oa. Danny Lademacher deel uit maakt, in ‘De Vrienden van Amstel Live’ in Ahoy. In alle 8 concerten brachten zij als finale 4 nummers ten gehore. Zijn CD 'HEMELSBREED' is een geweldig succes geworden. De CD bestaat uit geheel nieuw repertoire, maar kenmerkt zich door de bekende stijl van Xander. Na een inspannende theatertour eind 2003 richt Xander zich naast het vaderlandse publiek ook op onze zuiderburen.
