Frank Ocean (born October 28, 1987) is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who started his career as a member of the hip-hop collective Odd Future Wolfgang Kills Them All (OFWGKTA, Odd Future). He released his first mixtape "Nostalgic, Ultra" independently in early 2011 with his first studio album "Channel Orange" dropping the following year. "Channel Orange" went on to win Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2013 Grammys.
