The 16-year-old artist from Jackson, Mississippi, makes songs that have caught the attention of Justin Bieber, Skrillex, Meghan Trainor, and blink-182’s Mark Hoppus. Even when classmates did not support his experimental songs at first, the curly-haired, fresh-faced talent refused to compromise and pushed onward. Since 2020’s “October,” Prentiss has earned social support from Barstool Sports, daquan, and redveil, along with a rapidly growing following from top music peers.
