Angels & Airwaves (also known as AvA) is an alternative rock band from San Diego, California. After Tom DeLonge left blink-182 in 2005, he formed Angles & Airwaves as a way to embrace greater creativity. Described as both an "art" and "multimedia" project, Angels & Waves has released several studio albums as well as films, animated shorts, comic books, and other media.
