Adam Mitchel Lambert (born: January 29, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is a Jewish-American singer-songwriter and performer. In 2012, he made history as the first openly gay man to top the U.S. Billboard 200 with his album "Trespassing." Since then, he’s continued evolving his sound and style. In 2016, he collaborated with Iranian-Swedish artist Laleh on the single “Welcome to the Show” while in 2020, he and Nile Rodgers produced the single “Roses” together in 2020. Furthermore, he’s advanced beyond a solo career, acting as the lead singer of “Queen + Adam Lambert,” a collaborative project between himself and the band Queen.
