Conservative Military Image started as a one-man band by Adam Voss to make music that he wanted to hear in a then stagnant skinhead scene. Originally a Chicago-based hardcore skinhead band, members were added from Boston bands like Street Power. The current lime-up of CMI is Adam Voss, Austin Sparkman, Chris Cesarini, and Frank McGhee.
