P!nk (born Alecia Beth Moore, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, September 8, 1979) launched her musical journey as part of the band Choice in 1996. The group disbanded in 1998. In early 2000, she released her debut single "There You Go." About two months later, she dropped her debut album "Can't Take Me Home," which spawned additional hit singles "Most Girls" and "You Make Me Sick." The following year she scored her first number-one hit single in the US with “Lady Marmalade” (with Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, and Mýa), featured on the "Moulin Rouge!" soundtrack. It was followed by the party anthem "Get the Party Started."
