Dutch americana singer/songwriter Tim Knol is a connaisseur of bluegrass music. He teamed up with The Netherlands' finest bluegrass outfit, Blue Grass Boogiemen. Together they recorded the album Happy Hour, released in May 2019, as well as the music companion to the book 'Welcome to Creek Country' by Erik Kriek. The book contains 50 portraits of American country, folk and bluegrass artists; the accompanying album by Knol and the Boogies is a collection of songs by artists from the book, entitled Music from Creek Country (2020).
