The band was formed in 2017 by frontman Murray Matravers, together with bassist, saxophonist, singer and school friend Sam Hewitt. Also in their ranks are Afrobeat-influenced drummer Olly Cassidy, guitarist Lewis Berry and Jordan Birtles, on percussion, keys and backing vocals.
