Reed Mathis (aka Verb Johnson) is a bassist and guitarist from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a member of Tea Leaf Green and is also a founding and former member of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey. In 2006 he toured with the Steve Kimock Band and in 2007 he toured with Bobby Previte on The Coalition of the Willing West Coast Tour. He also tours and records with Marco Benevento.
