Originally from Toronto, Canada, The Weeknd (born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, February 16, 1990) is a 1990-02-15 year old rapper who co-founded the independent record label XO in 2011, with which he has released the vast majority of his music. All three were remixed, remastered, and released as a single compilation album, "Trilogy," in 2012. The following year, he dropped his debut album "Kiss Land." It peaked at number two on the album charts in Canada and the US. His next album, "Beauty Behind the Madness," was the first to reach the top spot in both nations. It was followed by three more number-one hit albums in Canada: "Starboy" (2016), "After Hours" (2020), and "Dawn FM" (2022). His most successful singles include "The Hills," "Can't Feel My Face," "Blinding Lights," "Save Your Tears," "Call Out My Name," and "Take My Breath."
