Their lyrics range from the personal to the political, including social commentary on racism in America.

First show of them I saw with Nona Hendryx as main act the Ritz NYC 1988
Living Colour played the University of Chicago on Sat. April 24, 1993 with Bad Brains. Still have ticket stub.
