Second Language formed in Los Angeles in 1981 through 1996 and began playing again in recent years.. Alternative rock with multiple influences including post-punk & new wave.

SECONDARY MODERN: Three "brothers" consistently make music in close quarters--a strange, tight-knit triangle that sounds both old and new. "Everyone plays everything" is how we respond to some questions. "sixties pop" -- "post-punk" -- "shit...I don't know" are things we overhear. A good friend recently referred to our sound as "madman rock." What does that mean? We wish that words were irrelevent. Spoon-fed on The Beatles, we hit our stride when we learned how to sound unlike them.
