Posted a comment on a concert:
Mick Jagger posted a photo on his Instagram Sept 30 in the morning before the show, showing how he dropped in on a local beer dive the night before, "out and about" to have a cold one and is being completely ignored by all the other patrons. Classic! It blew up the next day, look it up!

Added a past concert:
I saw this tour, "The Dark Side of the Moon" in a Nottingham venue (yes, THAT Nottingham, think Sheriff, Robin, etc) some date that I can't recall, just prior to this one. It would be the same set list and show. And in "The Great Gig in the Sky" the tour used 2 vocalists to pull off what one did in the studio - way too demanding to put one voice through night-after-night!

What can you say. . . a legendary line up, 2 super groups. Perfect sunny day, mushroom-enhanced, the Dead played first for 4 hours beginning in the afternoon. A break for set-up, and as it was getting dark, then Allman Bros, kickin ass as they do! They ended with some fireworks. I gotta say, no overblown staging effects by either band as is the expected "show" now, JUST the music, AAAHHH, the music!!!

Yeah, that was my first concert ever. Band scheduled for something like 9 pm, came out after 11:30. Good, for the short time they played. Probably drunk, or worse. You sit on the floor of the roller rink. We were 16. "Supposed" to be home by midnight, ha ha, so when we got to my friend's place @ 2 am, her mother somehow blamed me, lost it, and punched me in the face, broke my glasses, kicked me out. The good news was, with the black eye and broken glasses, my mom finally believed what I had been telling her all along, that my friend's mom was crazy.

I was there. 1. Crowd got rowdy, rushed gates, we nearly got squished, literally lifted off ground and thru the gate by the crush of bodies. 2. Teargas floated inside from police action outside as a result, not fun! 3. Stevie and Vandells were really cool 4. Crowd really went nuts when Mick sang "Sweet Virginia", especially the part about the shoes! (Most of us FROM Virginia, so we get it) 5. In the chaos, lost one of my friends, did not see her for 3 days. Come to find out, she and her boyfriend tried to sling a cooler of beer over the gate to get it inside. Got busted, in jail for 3 days! At least they missed the tear gas.
