Tokio Hotel is a German pop rock band founded in Magdeburg, Germany in 2001 by singer Bill Kaulitz, guitarist Tom Kaulitz, bassist Georg Listing, and drummer Gustav Schäfer. The group initially performed under the name "Devilish." In 2005, the band released its debut album "Schrei." It peaked at the top of the German album charts and included the number-one hit singles "Durch den Monsun"/Monsoon", "Rette mich", and "Der lezte Tag." The band's sophomore album, "Zimmer 483" (2007), also topped the charts and included Tokio Hotel's fourth number-one hit single for the band, "Übers Ende der Welt"/"Ready, Set, Go!." "Humanoid," the band's fourth album became the band's third to peak at number one. Tokio Hotel's seventh album "2001" was released in 2022.
