Pure Adult are an experimental punk band formed in Brooklyn in 2017. They consist of musician Jeremy Snyder and contemporary dancer and visual artist Bianca Abarca. Jeremy grew up in a church-turned-cult, where harsh, dissonant music was off-limits. Today, Pure Adult's music incorporates elements of post-punk and addresses themes of violence and oppression.
