His debut studio album "Abino" dropped three years later. In 2023, his breakthrough single "Freisenjung" (w/ Ski Aggu and Otto Waalkes) charted throughout Europe, peaking at number one in Austria and Germany, while his single "Europapa," became his first to chart in the US. Joost competed for the Netherlands at Eurovision in 2024 but was disqualified in the semi-finals.
