Opened with an excellent all-acoustic show by Brewer and Shipley (Tarkio Road, One Toke, etc.). Hot Tuna show was similar in sound/songs to the "First Pull Up" lp released several months later, including Will Scarlett on harmonica, Sammy Piazza on drums, and Papa John Creach on fiddle. As indicated in the newspaper clipping, there was much drama due to smoking in the wooden music hall, with threats to stop the show by the fire marshall.

I attended this concert. Hot Tuna "did not show" and a local Grateful Dead clone band served as the intro band. Grin put on a tremendous show, still partly available as a sugarmegs download. I stayed for only one or two songs of the Savoy Brown show, which paled in comparison to Grin.
