Zabili mi żółwia (They killed my turtle) is a punky reggae band which started its activity in 1997 in a small town Mazańcowice near Bielsko-Biała in Poland. It was founded by a group of friends. Their first concert took place in Primary School in Mazańcowice in 1999. Music of Zabili mi żółwia includes parts of ska, reggae and punk. After playing a few concerts in 2000, guitarist Szymon Tarnowski was replaced by Kuba Wieczorek. The same year Wojtek Homa (who played accordion) joined the group.
