Yuri Honing is probably Holland’s most important saxophone player (according to the Penguin Guide to Jazz on CD and the Oxford Introduction to jazz) with touring experience in over 50 countries and a discography of almost 30 titles. Honing played and recorded with greats as Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden and Paul Bley.
