Young Conservative is Bobby Cotterill. In 2004 he discovered how to make a gabba kick. For the last five years he's been exploring the infinite possibilities opened up by this apparently simple musical device. The tempos have got quicker and the tracks have got noisier over this time, but the endless fascination with an overdriven analogue bass drum still remains in his work.
