XU first started Djing at a seminal night in the cold Canberra winter called the Vinyl Underground it was there that the dark deep techno vibe first started distorting speakers ill equiped to deal with such sonic manipulation. From there much experimentation found its way into sets around eastern states of Australia. 2, 3 decks and Laptop Jams ensued. It only seemed natural that XU founded the label Mojodojo Media as a platform to release independantly of the mainstream.
