After receiving his first set of turntables from his best friend Alan Veniscovsky in 1997, Wyllys set out on a path dominated by Drum and Bass and Jungle. Once he saw more and more Phish shows, his path seemed to split wide open. Phish’s multi-genre approach to live music and improvisation made Wyllys realize there was a vast world of music out there and in order to truly reach out to the crowd, a DJ must be able to incorporate a myriad of styles in his set.
