1. Writhen is a melodic death metal/deathcore band from Georgetown, Ontario, Canada. Writhen is a DIY band, producing, mixing and mastering all of their music by themselves. Formed in 2012, the band began recording their debut album consisting of 7 songs. Founding members Kyle Brownlee (drums/production), Billy Partridge (guitar) and Eric Drossmann (bass) wrote the album over the breakup of previous bands. With the breakup of former bands, ex-bandmate Dylan Daquano joined the band as a second guitarist.
