We Killed Pablo Escobar is the outcome of five unique individuals who are aspiring to be in a successful hardcore band. It all started late 2003 when Ben (guitar) first met Tom (bassist) through Jimmy (former singer of Renounce). Originally, Ben and Tom were to play for Caesura, with Jimmy as the lead vocalist. In turn, there were creative differences that Tom and Ben had with Caesura, causing them to leave the band to pursue bigger and better things.
