Vinsantos has been an acclaimed performance artist and musician in the San Francisco underground since the early 90's. In 2006 he caught the attention of post punk icon David J (Bauhaus/Love and Rockets). Vinsantos at the time was compiling material that would soon be his first full length solo recording. He recorded a demo version with band mate Marc Kate and delivered it to David at a Bauhaus gig in southern California. Soon after that, the two had their first sit down meeting.
