Verlon Thompson http://www.verlonthompson.com is a singer, songwriter and traveling performer. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on Jaunuary 5, 1954 and raised in Caddo County Oklahoma. Since arriving in Nashville, Tn. in 1981 Verlon has been a professional songwriter with songs recorded by Guy Clark, Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson, Kenny Rogers, Trisha Yearwood, Suzy Bogguss, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Dierks Bentley, Sam Bush, Del McCoury and others. Verlon recorded a project for Capitol Nashville/SBK Records in 1991 entitled Verlon Thompson.
