Verdell Primeaux is of Oglalla/Yankton Sioux and Ponca heritage and was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He has a daughter by the name of Wichoni and two sons by the names of Kurdell and Ordell. Verdell now resides in Tuba City, Arizona.
