Vera Ellen is a New Zealand indie musician and member of Los Angeles band Girl Friday. Vera Ellen's latest album, Ideal Home Noise , was released on Flying Nun records on March 31st, 2023. Her previous album It's Your Birthday was released in 2021 and earned her the 2022 Aotearoa Music Award for Best Alternative Artist, as well as a nomination for Independent Music NZ's Taite Music Prize.
