Two Planes is an instrumental, two-piece, guitar-drums experimental rock outfit based in Asheville, NC. Sam Hunt (guitar, drum machine, keyboard) and Ian Galdy (drums, bass, voice) both grew up in the Chapel Hill/Durham area of North Carolina. Influences include Spacemen 3, Galaxie 500, Yo la Tengo, Built to Spill, and Mogwai.
