Tumul is the avant-noise project of Cameron Farash (aka Dr. Hamburger) and Joe Tunis (aka Joe+N) of Rochester. Their live performances combine ethereal, sometimes brutal electronic samples and abrasive percussion with bizarre costumes and stage-acting. They are based in Rochester, and are currently on the Carbon Records label.
