Tira Poeira is a chorinho group from Rio de Janeiro, more specifically identified with the bohemian Lapa. Their sound is a highly creative mixture of jazz influences merging with samba and choro, but nothing like bossa nova. It's more like if you heard a very contemporary interpretation of brazilian chorinho's classics altogether with experimentation, improvisation and unpredictable sounds, such as their latest record, which features the funk carioca DJ Sany Pitbull.
