The Whipsaws are a high energy rock band from Anchorage, Alaska. In 2006, the band released their debut album, 10 Day Bender, which has seen respectable radio airplay in Europe as well as the U.S. The Whipsaws are releasing a new record titled, "60 Watt Avenue", in early 2008 and will begin touring full time. 60 Watt was mixed by John Agnello (Hold Steady, Son Volt, Drive by Truckers)and features a guest appearance by New West recording artist, Tim Easton.
