The Walnut Street Project Concert History

The Walnut Street Project formed in the fall of 1998 in Meadville, PA. Alan Higby started the band by recruiting Chris Moore (from the local band Slander) to play drums and Troy Messerall (from the local band Silver Depth) to play guitar. Diana Babbitt joined the band as the vocalist and the line-up was rounded out by bassist Jeremy Gracik. Everyone was a junior in high school at the time except for Jeremy, who was a senior. The band played its first show on April 3, 1999.
