The Vlegels were a new Dutch pop-rock band, formed in May 2007. The band existed of five people: Roel Smeets (rythm guitar + leading vocals), Elze Haukes (leading vocals), Nadien Komduur (guitar), Nienke Smeets (bass guitar), Clance Vaassen (drums + percussion). Their first EP, 'What about', was released in May 2009. They broke up in 2010.
